Website, brand and graphic design agency, Round Creative employed me to design and enact a complete marketing strategy, then leverage this to cultivate, convert & engage warm leads, contributing to a holistic business development and expansion strategy. I hold sole responsibility for Round Creative’s marketing.
I launched a campaign circulating around high value content for our demographic, including articles on web-design trends, social media posting plans and team events such as #PPFC Leeds. I then used Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to propagate content, generate engagement and direct traffic. We were able to derive business from the content strategy I’d implemented. This also enabled us to develop the business further by combining the content strategy with our brief extraction methodology and sell a new service.
A solid and consistent social media and content strategy and presence allowed us at Round to start hitting touchpoints for aspirational customers and engaging new prospects. We were also able to leverage a dry, yet friendly and helpful tone of voice to engage specific industries on social media to establish a presence and authority on web design in these industries. This resulted in cultivating and further consolidating a new niche in professional services, more specifically, architecture, chemical and law.

With Round being a creative and very visual brand, I took full advantage of the opportunity to share vibrant and brand-representative imagery celebrating relevant current events, such as the Cambridge Analytica scandal, analytics milestones, the death of Professor Stephen Hawking and more.
This imagery and interaction allowed me to engage relevant complimentary businesses and engage both their audiences and our existing audience in order to support brand identity and Round’s authority in the field of web design.
LDF2018: Dealing with isolation

I took part in another instalment of Leeds Digital Festival in 2018 representing two businesses; Leeds Tech and, primarily, Round Creative. I organised and hosted a panel discussion in which myself and five other industry members held a candid and open conversation on mental wellbeing within creative and tech careers to an audience of 30. This was held in Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen, promoted through Round channels and engagement of other involved channels and demanded engagement of videographers, photographers and audio teams.
